Our Psychologists


Sigrid O’Callaghan,  Clinical Psychologist 

With over 25 years of experience in the public and private mental health settings, Sigrid has training in CBT, ACT, IPT, sandplay for children and adolescents, as well as extensive training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adults. Sigrid sees adults and young people from the age of five who present with a wide range of emotional and behavioural difficulties. She has a special interest in assisting people overcoming the effect of early attachment difficulties on current emotional well-being and relationship pattern. Sigrid is an experienced clinical supervisor and worked in this capacity with interns of the QUT Master Course in Clinical Psychology since 2006; she is available for supervision of new graduates as well as experienced clinicians.

Sigrid is available for appointments at our Gordon Park office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 


Yazmin Rann, Psychologist 

Sometimes we all need someone to shine a light and help us navigate a challenging chapter in life. As a registered psychologist this is what I am passionate about doing. I seek to help empower people to achieve greater insight and develop personal skills for successful coping. I see a variety of clients from age five to 95, dealing with a range of emotional difficulties. I employ a client-centred and eclectic approach, drawing on many forms of therapy including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative and Reminiscence Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. I have a special interest in working with children, adolescents, and families. As I am based at our Palm Beach office, I utilise telehealth for clients in other locations. When not working I enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast and time spent with family and friends.

Frankie Tarver, Psychologist (MAPS)

I have experience providing therapy to adults and young people with a diverse range of situations and mental health concerns. I use an integrative therapeutic approach which is trauma-informed, compassion-focussed, and tailored to individual needs and goals using evidence-based practice. I use cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, yoga nidra, and other yogic techniques supported by psychological research. I have special interests in neurodiversity including ADHD and ASD, sleep disorders, and issues faced by LGBTIQ+ people.

Frankie is available for appointments at our Maroochydore office.


Sharron Whittaker Psychologist (MAPS)

I enjoy working with couples as well as with adolescents and adults across a variety of cultures and ethnic groups. I use an integrative treatment approach using evidence-based therapies including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. I have an interest and experience in the following areas: depression, anxiety disorders, loss and bereavement, trauma, relationships and family difficulties. I use Couples Therapy (Gottman Therapy – Level 2), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focussed Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy. When I’m not working, I enjoy the Australian outdoors and all it has to offer.

Sharron is available for appointments at our Gordon Park office on Wednesdays and Thursdays.


Tyrell Champion, Psychologist (MAPS)

I work with adults and adolescents, and have a particular passion for working with young people to explore their motivations, emotions, and sense of direction in life. I have experience working with clients presenting with symptoms of anxiety, depression, interpersonal and communication difficulties, and stress. I also have experience assisting with vocational counselling, leadership, alcohol and other drug use (including tobacco cessation), identity and self-development, goal setting, and organisational processes.

I utilise a warm and collaborative approach in my work with clients, and incorporate a client-focused approach and an eclectic range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. Away from work I enjoy spending time with family and friends and keeping active.

Durriya Meraj, Psychologist 

I believe in contributing towards the welfare of the community through my knowledge and experience. I integrate client-centred communicative skills, using an empathic and compassionate approach in my practice to help and alleviate the distress of the individuals encountering mental health challenges.

My key areas of interest are working with diverse and multi-ethnic client population with various mental health issues such as mood disorders, substance use disorders, personality disorders, grief and trauma, interpersonal and family conflicts and behavioural issues. I enjoy working with all age groups and have a particular interest in geriatric psychology.

I have experience in conducting various cognitive assessments and using validated measures to inform the clients’ presentation. I incorporate various evidence-based interventions such as CBT, PCT and Solution Focused therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Grief Counselling and IPT into client-focused issues. 

Durriya will be available for appointments on Mondays and Fridays at our Aspley office.


Raichelle D’Silva, Psychologist

I am committed to helping people navigate difficult periods in their life, by developing skills and strategies that build resilience and emotional wellness. 

I have extensive experience working with adults, children and their families providing counselling, evidence-based interventions, assessment and psychological testing to facilitate positive growth and change. Throughout the course of my career, I have a worked with neurodevelopmental disorders, mood disorders including anxiety and depression, eating disorders, trauma and stressor related disorders, substance use related disorders and personality disorders.

I am person-centered in my approach, utilising various therapy styles (CBT, ACT, DBT, neuropsychotherapy) to suit individual needs. I have a particular interest in the treatment of trauma and stressor related disorders using neuropsychotherapy and EMDR when appropriate.

Raichelle will be available for appointments on Wednesday afternoons at our Aspley office.

Veronica ID

Veronica Ramarr, Psychologist

I am a registered psychologist in Australia and an overseas qualified clinical psychologist. In my practice, I use evidence-based therapies such as Mindfulness Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and I especially like working with a Cognitive Behaviour approach (CBT), a very effective therapy to explore and manage what’s happening to my clients.

My main goal is to find effective strategies to improve my client’s present
and future life, and to offer support and help to develop a better understanding
of their concerns. I have experience in helping adults and adolescents with a broad range of presentations such as anxiety, stress, communication skills, anger management, trauma, grief and loss. I am passionate about psychology, and I love what I do and keeping my skills updated. I am able to provide sessions in French. 

Veronica is available to work with clients face to face at our Maroochydore office and by telehealth. 


Karyn Taylor, Psychologist

I am passionate about working with people collaboratively to enhance their coping skills and improve their wellbeing. I offer a warm, relaxed and empathic approach which is person-centred and draws upon a variety of evidence-based treatments – including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Reminiscence Therapy and Mindfulness. I have experience working with people encountering a range of situations and difficulties including anxiety, depression, stress, interpersonal issues, grief and trauma. My key areas of interest include performance psychology and strengths-based psychology.

Karyn is available to work with clients face to face at our Springwood office and by telehealth. 

Our Counsellors


Stephen Morgan, Counsellor and Sexologist

Stephen is a Clinical Sexologist working with Change Futures from their Gordon Park office. He has completed a Masters of Sexology (Curtin University), a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology, Honours (University of the Sunshine Coast), and is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling (University of Canberra).

Stephen aims to support clients to feel empowered by enhancing their sexual self-esteem, sexuality, gender identity, and intimacy as an individual or in a relationship/s. Additionally, he works with clients to provide an assessment of their sexual concerns and provide counselling and practical informational resources.

Stephen’s approach is person-centred, positive and affirming. He works one on one with individuals, couples, families and many other relationship structures.  

Stephen is available for appointments at our Gordon Park office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, face to face or by telehealth.  


Ana Obradovic, Provisional Psychologist 

I see clients of all ages who are experiencing any acute or chronic emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. I utilise a person-centred and collaborative approach with each client as we explore the presenting challenges and establish therapy goals together.

I have experience working therapeutically with individuals and couples who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, mood disorders, distress, grief and loss, interpersonal or adjustment difficulties, history of mental health issues, past traumatic events or existential crises. I have also worked with children in out of home care, unaccompanied minors, refugees and individuals with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, residents in the aged care facilities and other marginalized and vulnerable populations.

I am also fluent in Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian languages.

Ana is available for face-to-face appointments at our Gordon Park office or telehealth sessions on Fridays.  


Maria Barnes, Community Services Program Coordinator

As our Community Services Program Coordinator, Maria provides support to our practitioners working in our Community based programs. Maria helps these organisations and our practitioners to provide effective care to these clients.
