    FAQs

    Q: Can I book a psychologist without a GP referral? 

    A: Yes, private practice appointments can be arranged directly with our intake team without a GP referral. However, without a GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), you won’t be eligible for the Medicare rebate. To access the Medicare rebate you will need the Mental Health Care Plan, which is prepared and referred through by your GP.

    Q: Can I contact a psychologist directly? 

    A: All calls are received through our intake team. Our intake staff can transfer calls directly to a practitioner if they are available at that time. Please note that telehealth appointments are available if you wish to speak to a practitioner for an extended period of time period over the phone.
